My Prayers

A Prayer for the servant of God. Those who have ears, listen and who has a mouth confess…

My Prayer on the 10 commandments – the Law of God

Scriptures: Deuteronomy 5

Father, My God, give me strength and faith and show mercy on me. Jesus I declare with my mouth that you are my God, the only God and I acknowledge that you have control over my heart, my soul, and my strength. In my understanding I obey You only, serve You willingly and love You honestly. God please guide me to honour You in every breath that I take, in every word that I speak and that I glorify your name only.

God, I trust in you to lead me. Father send your spirit as my discernment and my guide to recognise the enemy if he should present himself as a higher being than you. Then You will crush him under your feet like a piece of pottery and your name will be exalted in the heavens as it is on earth. I rely on your mercy and grace my Lord to walk every day in faith knowing that you love us, so much, that you send your only son, my Lord, Jesus Christ, as a sacrifice. I thank you Father for your Grace.

God, my Father, forgive me if I misuse your name or use it for anything other than to glorify You. I rely on your spirit of truth to protect me against the evil schemes of the enemy who will use this against me. By your spirit that is in me, I obey your voice and your commands. You are the Lord, my God, and your name is a mighty tower above my head, a fortress that cannot be penetrated.

Father, I want to serve You and exalt You every day and every moment, I want to spread the good news of your love and glory but help me to also rest and listen. Father in your presence I want to be still and know that You are God, creator of the universe and all that is in it. Ruler of Kings of the Earth.

Father God, I will abide in you. Bless my earthly mother and father who You have given me so I may honour them by honouring and worshipping you.

I pray Father that your Holy Spirit will put a guard on my mouth so that I do not hurt, murder, or steal with my tongue from your treasures in heaven.

God, my father, mercy be on me so that I do not commit adultery against You my heavenly groom, that I do not betray you in my weak moments and that I honour your love by submitting and committing to my earthly husband whom You have given me. That by loving him with all my heart in serving you, I will honour You always in love.

Father above all, pour your love on me so that I may be filled with your love and sacrifice as it serves my neighbours, that I may be a beacon of goodness and forgiveness for your name sake.

Father, I pray in faith and rely on your promises that my heart belongs to you and that you will never let me out of your hand.
Amen

The Lord’s Prayer

Scriptures: Matthew 6:9

“When you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who sees what is done in secret and will reward you.”

Our Father,

God of Abraham, God of Isaac and God of Jacob. You are the God of the living, Creator of the universe, the Alpha and the Omega, who sits on His throne in heaven.

Exodus 3:15, Rev 1:8, Matt 22:32

Hallowed be Your name,

To You, be all the glory and power for ever and ever.

Rev 1:6

Your Kingdom come,

may your children, your faithfull servants come and serve You and Your son,  for He has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God and our father. And Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom and Your dominion endures through all generations.

Rev 1:6, Psalm 145:13

Your will be done,

I desire to do Your will, my God, your law is within my heart. Your will and your word endures, as in days of old and of new, proclaimed to all the nations,

On Earth as it is in Heaven.

Psalm 40:8

Give us today our daily bread,

to sustain our life,

For man shall not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.  We thank you for your living bread which came from heaven so that who-ever eats this bread will live forever.

Matthew 4:4, John 6:51

Forgive us our tresspassess as we forgive those who tresspass against us.

For if we forgive others their tresspasses, our heavenly Father will also forgive ours.

In Jesus you have given us redemption through His blood and the forgiveness of our tresspasses according to the richness of Your grace.

Matthew 6:14. Ephesians 1:7

Lord, lead us not into temptation,

for our spirit is willing but our flesh is weak,

But Lord rescue us from the devil’s temptation,

for our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of evil.

We pray, deliver us from evil our gracious Lord.

Matthew 26:41, Ephesians 6:12

For Thine is the Kingdom, Power and Glory

For ever and ever. Amen

Isaiah 50

Regarding Israel’s Sin and the Servant’s Obedience

Let the one who walks in the dark, who has no light, trust in the name of the Lord and rely on their God.

This is what the Lord says of His bride, Israel, the people of God.

“Where is your mother’s certificate of divorce with which I sent her away? Who agreed to this separation? To obtain a certificate of divorce both parties have to agree and sign. The Lord did not agree to this divorce.

Or to which of my creditors did I sell you?  I have not sold you out, I have not walked away…

Because of your sins you were sold; because of your transgressions your mother was sent away. You chose to walk away from me. You chose to sin by turning your face away from me, by ignoring me when I called you.

When I called, why was there no one to answer? When I came, why was there no one?

Was my arm too short to deliver you? Do you not know that I would move the mountains for you? Do I lack the strength to rescue you?

By a mere rebuke I dry up the sea, I turn rivers into a desert;their fish rot for lack of water and die of thirst.

I clothe the heavens with darkness and make sackcloth its covering.”

The Sovereign Lord has given me a well-instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary.

He wakens me morning by morning,

wakens my ear to listen like one being instructed.

The Sovereign Lord has opened my ears;

I have not been rebellious, I have not turned away.

I offered my back to those who beat me,

my cheeks to those who pulled out my beard;

I did not hide my face from mocking and spitting.

Because the Sovereign Lord helps me, I will not be disgraced.

Therefore have I set my face like flint, and I know I will not be put to shame.

He who vindicates me is near.

Who then will bring charges against me?

Let us face each other! Who is my accuser? Let him confront me!

It is the Sovereign Lord who helps me.

Who will condemn me?

They will all wear out like a garment; the moths will eat them up.

Who among you fears the Lord and obeys the word of his servant?

Let the one who walks in the dark, who has no light, trust in the name of the Lord and rely on their God.

But now, all you who light fires and provide yourselves with flaming torches, go, walk in the light of your fires and of the torches you have set ablaze.

Amen
